Annapurna Base Camp Trek

This is an amazing trek begins in Nayapul, a location just outside of Pokhara Valley. The trail takes you through dense rhododendron forests, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, passing through several rural villages and along a mule track with some steep climbs that take you into the serene Annapurna Sanctuary. Finally you make your way up to the spectacular Annapurna Base Camp.

Trekking in the Everest Region of Nepal

Probably the most famous trekking area in the world, the Everest region contains four of Nepal’s 8 peaks that scale over 8,000. Naturally, this region is a prime destination offering a wide range of experience to alpinists and trekkers from all over the world.

Located in northeast Nepal, the Everest region known as Khumbu is part of the Solukhumbu District and is one of the three major settlements of the Sherpa’s. The region’s elevation increases from 3,300 m to 8,848 m, the summit of Mt. Everest (known as Sagarmatha in Nepali). It also encloses Sagarmatha National Park. Further east is the Makalu-Barun National Park. The trekking trails to Everest Base Camp are well developed and there are several routes leading to more remote areas of semi-wilderness in the vast area.
